I received my undergraduate degree in Special Education from Bloomsburg University, my graduate degree from Wilkes University, and earned a Supervisory certificate in Special Education from Lehigh University.  I have been involved in education as a special education teacher and administrator since 1989.  Parkland has been my home since 2002.

My philosophy of education is to provide for my students a chance to meet academic and social challenges successfully.  I firmly believe that all students deserve the chance to learn, no matter what the strategy or pace.  Students should have the opportunity to learn to make choices and to learn from mistakes.
